Female. New South Wales, Australia

This beautiful girl, Kate is looking for a new home. Chance, follows her and her sister on instagram (lol yes my dog has an instagram; @chancerdoodles if anyone else has one & wants to follow him) and her owners had to recently give her up.

They’ve had numerous visits to their vet and a behaviorist and unfortunately they were told that both of their dogs, Molly and Kate, are dominant female dogs. So they needed to be separated as soon as possible before one of them got seriously hurt. Their other dog, Molly, suffers from anxiety because they are preparing to move from Australia to the UK. Unfortunately, Molly is going to need a lot of help, attention and training, along with a stable calm environment. Which they can’t provide that for the next half year. This hasn’t been easy for them, which I can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like, but they know they can’t gamble with taking both girls to the UK where they have no support, just in case it wouldn’t work out.

Molly and Kate’s mom messaged me and told me that their behaviorist told them that Kate would not be suitable for a family who already has a dominate female dog. The behaviorist also told them that she would be ideal in a house with no dog family so she can have their full attention OR a family who already has an older male dog. She also said she is such a sweet girl and won’t disappoint her new family.

Here is her link to her adoption page, ( https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/453704 ) I figured i'd share their situation and Kate's link in hopes more people will see her and she'll get adopted sooner. If you want to look through other pictures of Kate, their instagram account is @molly_and_kate
