We have coyotes in our area too thankfully one of my country boy neighbors takes care of them. They are one of the reasons we fenced off half our yard with 6 ft chain link fence to protect the dogs and stuff.

I don't know how good it works but there are some homeowners who leave a radio play 24/7 to keep coyotes away. There are 2 home close to us that have them on all the time. We can often hear them playing when we are outside.

They are out in force now because of all the babies bing born. I hate waking to a pack of them yipping close to the house.

We have a pair of coyotes in our area. They aren't afraid of cars or much of anything.
Gotta love 'em.

These little guys are always getting stuck on our porch. And I used the bag because I didn't want to touch it (and have to wash my hands Tongue) and I guess it turns out we have bags on our porch but not garden gloves. Shrug

We don't have gardening gloves on our back porch either, but we seem to have a 6 foot tall stack of old boxes there instead. Go figure.
Gotta love 'em.

Today, I found we had a quail family in the yard.  I had seen a pair over the last few weeks and hoped that we had a nest and babies.  They are so cute!  In the afternoon a wind storm came up and the babies were being tossed around by the wind.  I didn't dare go out and help for fear that mom would be scared away.  Mom was looking around in an attempt to find all her babies, I hope everyone is safe.

We have these cute little Gecko's absolutely everywhere, inside and outside the house. They never bother us except for their poop and occasionally finding eggs if you pull out linen you haven't used in a while. In the first photo (if you expand it) you can see the little suction pads on their feet. At night when insects and moths are attracted to the windows, they have a good feed along with all the frogs. Don't you hate when you dinner gets stuck in your teeth (like this little guy).

I find gecko hatchlings all the time, but finding an adult is rare.

Last fall when we brought in some kindling for the fireplace there must have been geckos in the box. Unfortunately I didn't know until I found them dead. This year we will be much more careful not to harm any.
