Starting Running with Bronwen
#1
Over the last few weeks I'be started doing bits with Bronwen in a running harness.  I'm being led by her in that if she wants to stop we stop, or we walk rather than run.  She's enjoying it and so am I.  We have a glorious spring day here today so I found us a local looped route around the Blorenge in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We did just over 7 miles run/ walking with 1000ft of climb and an ice cream for Bronwen and an ice lolly for me at the end Big Grin I'm very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country.

Starting point at Keepers Pond (which was paddled in by Bronwen when we got back)

Taking in the views (we had to run back up to the top of that ridge later on)

Up through a woodland - Bronwen found lots of interesting things to smell!

We've both had a little snooze on the sofa this afternoon LOL.  Happy dog and a happy owner!

Thanks all Smile

only-borders - when I said paddle I mean paddle, she's scared of swimming at the moment! My friend chucked her in a lake a few days ago (when Bron's mum was swimming but she was too scared to go in) as she did that with all her dogs inc Bron's mum and they all love water now. She's going in deeper but I think it may take another couple of dips before she realises water is fun!
