Failed Ember's Halloween costume this year due to time constraints. It was still wet when I put it on her (glue, but not on her fur), and the cotton balls were falling off. But at least I got it on her just long enough to take a picture... much to her chagrin LOL.

This dog really tolerates me.

She is so cute!  Great costume!

Here are my photos.  It took 45 minutes and the help of my daughter.

Mattie

Tasha

They loved wearing hats and bandanas.  The challenge was getting them to hold still!

OMG they are all so cute.

I'll confess, I was the reason Chris didn't have the time needed to make Ember's costume. Sorry Chris and Ember.

Anyone else have any pictures of their dogs in costumes to share?

Really, only two of us dressed up our pups for Halloween?!

By the way, Ember's costume is perfect.  Homemade costumes are never supposed to be completely finished.  I can't tell you how many times my children went out to trick-or-treat with their costumes safety pinned (I just could never get the zipper done!).  Sometimes I used diaper pins... I guess I shouldn't say that, it will age me!

Next year I will try out our bumble-bee costumes!  Yes, I have bumble-bee costumes for my collies.  A friend gave the costumes to me.

True that! Also, part of Ember's problem is that her costume somehow shrank as it was made! The sweater fit her comfortably before I started gluing lol! Some of her face making is that I think she's scared to move!

That reminds me of when I bought a Thundershirt for Tasha.  Mattie isn't afraid of thunder but does have a number of fears so I thought I would try on the Thundershrit to see how it fit.  Mattie froze.  She stood so stiffly that I thought she might tip over!  I asked my daughter to steady her while I took the Thundershirt off.

However, cowgirl hats don't seem to bother Mattie.

Sheriff Mattie: "We don't like strangers in our town, you better move along."   Big Grin
