Prayers for Angel
#1
Many of you know, Angel is my 15, almost 16 year old JRT.  She has been having one minor health problem after another this year and has started having more serious issues in the last few months.  Over the last couple weeks she has often refused to eat.  And this weekend, she has started having seizures.  We have known for a few months that her latest health problems would eventually be fatal because she can't swallow correctly anymore, so we are feeling like it's time to say goodbye, but this is my daughter's dog, and my daughter is going through some tough stuff right now.  We are requesting prayers that Angel will let us know when it's really THE time and that her passing will be an easy one for her.  We know it won't be easy for us, but we also take comfort in knowing that we are trying to do the absolute best for her.
Gotta love 'em.

My heart breaks for you all. Sending prayers your way.

This is the hardest part of pet ownership. We have to remember all the joy and love we have received through the years and hold that in our hearts. Hugs to your daughter.

Praying indeed. Such a hard decision, and at such a sensitive time. Keep us informed.

She had a good day yesterday and the day before, but today is not so good. We have an appointment tomorrow. I believe that will be it. Today, she is spending on my lap, even though she has coughed up gunk on me twice...and peed a little.
Gotta love 'em.

Thoughts are with you GM. Good plan to spend the day snuggling with her, that is all my last senior wanted at this stage, it was everything to her, bless you.

Praying for your family tonight and tomorrow. It sounds like she is being very clear on her needs. Bless her heart - and yours, and your daughters.

Sending prayers. Take comfort in knowing how much she loved you and your family through the years. Praying she crosses the bridge peacefully.
